Super Bowl Blog: Last Chance To Speak To Patriots, Seahawks

CHANDLER, Ariz. (CBS) -- It's Thursday in Arizona, which means it's the final day that the players will be made available to the media.

That's not a bad thing. After all, the amount of player access from the Patriots in the past two days has basically exceeded the amount of access the media has had all year long, so it's not like there's too much left that has not yet been asked. And what's more, the players completing their final media obligations means that we're all getting closer to Sunday, which is why we're all here.

Wednesday was a pretty big day for arrivals in the city, as Phoenix is now jammed and alive with excitement. I expect to spend some quality time in downtown Phoenix on Thursday to help provide a better picture of what's happening down there for you all.

Here in Chandler, things are quiet. What's funny is that my hotel is located in the middle of about 9 million strip malls, yet apparently Conan O'Brien came in Tuesday night with Rob Gronkowski and Marshawn Lynch. They were filming this:

The fact that those three people occupied space on this unassuming piece of land is proof that you really can't ever know what to expect during Super Bowl week.

So there's no telling what Thursday will bring. Check with our Patriots page early and often for all the updates from Arizona as we move a day closer toward Super Sunday. We'll see if Tom Brady looks or sounds any better in his ongoing battle with a cold, we'll see if Bill Belichick has his game face on, we'll see if the hundreds of media members have any questions left to ask, and we'll see a whole lot more. Stay tuned!
