Jury Seated In Aaron Hernandez Murder Case

FALL RIVER (CBS/AP) -- A jury has been seated to hear the murder case against ex-New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez.

The jury was made up of 13 women and 5 men. They were chosen from a pool of 53 potential jurors who made it through screening for biases and hardships.

"You can not talk about . . . the fact that you've been selected on the jury for this case," Judge Susan Garsh told the newly seated jury.

Garsh says six of the 18 jurors will be randomly selected as alternates just before deliberations start.

Hernandez is charged with killing Odin Lloyd of Boston in June 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Opening arguments are set to begin Thursday after a delay due to a winter storm.
