Bomb Squad Destroys Suspicious Package At Natick Army Labs

NATICK (CBS) -- A police bomb squad destroyed a suspicious package found inside the gates of Natick Army Labs on Thursday.

The building was evacuated, said John Harlow, a spokesman for Natick Soldier Systems. The installation houses about 1,600 people during the day, but many workers had already gone home, Harlow said.

Massachusetts State Police and local police are on the scene.
