Video Shows Man Flipping Over Red Line Tracks

BOSTON (CBS) - Video of a daring jump over the Red Line train tracks is being condemned by the MBTA.

Dylan Polin, a parkour enthusiast, posted the video on Instagram last week.

The video shows Polin get a running start before he jumps and flips across the tracks at Park Street Station.

He wrote, "Been dreaming of this for years. Finally gapped the red line train tracks. Huge way to end 2014."

Parkour is the activity or sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing.

Polin has posted other videos of his stunts at both indoor gyms and out in the city.

The MBTA was not happy Polin chose their property for his latest feat.

"There is nothing impressive nor cool about it," MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said. "An incredibly foolish and extraordinarily stupid act. Transit Police detectives are looking into this matter."
