The Story Behind Edelman's 'The Pass' T-Shirt

BOSTON (CBS) - The Tom Brady to Julian Edelman to Danny Amendola touchdown pass is one of those plays Patriots fans will never forget.

"Honestly I did not know Julian was going to throw a pass. Nobody saw that one coming," Assaf Swissa of Super Digital said.

Super Digital is an ad agency that focuses on sports marketing. Assaf says his team has developed a number of Edelman shirts already and as soon as they saw this amazing trick play their creative minds went to work.

A short time later "The Pass" t-shirt was created.

"We got to work on it right after the game, the shirt was released eight hours after the game was over," Assaf said. Assaf says online sales at julianedelman.com or je11.com are in the thousands.

Many fans including students at Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury loved watching the trick play and even reenacted it today in school. "It was a great call by the offensive coordinator I just knew it was going to be touchdown," Catholic Memorial student Paul Bennett said.

The pass shirt sells for $29.99. Assaf says if fans order today they can receive it by the AFC game this weekend.
