Belichick's Tube Socks Steal Show At Wednesday Press Conference

BOSTON (CBS) -- Bill Belichick's press conferences usually rock everyone's socks off, but it was his fashion sense on Wednesday that had everyone's attention.

The Patriots head coach made his final press conference of the 2014 calendar year on Wednesday, and while it was enthralling to hear him chat about the team's bye week, it was hard not to notice his LL Cool J look at the podium.

Belichick's attire wasn't the only clothing talk on Wednesday. When the team hit the field for the day's practice session, linebackers Jamie Collins and Dont'a Hightower were reportedly wearing each other's jersey, causing a few reporters to do a double take.

Things may seemed a little laid back at practice as the Patriots have no opponent to prepare for, awaiting the results of this weekend's Wild Card round. But make no mistake, they are hard at work with a full pad scrimmage on Wednesday. The Patriots are focused on some self-evaluation this week, with three practices before getting the weekend off.

Wide receiver Brandon LaFell and defensive lineman Alan Branch were both missing from the media portion of Wednesday's practice.
