Teen Collapses, Dies While Playing Basketball In Hyannis

HYANNIS (CBS) – An 18-year-old died while playing basketball with friends in Hyannis Tuesday night.

Emergency crews tried to revive the Barnstable teen after he collapsed at the Hyannis Youth Center.

He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Witnesses told police there was no hit or collision, he just collapsed.

The teen's name has not been released.
