Masked Man Fires Shot Into Wall During Taunton Bank Robbery

TAUNTON (CBS) – Police said a masked man used a rifle to fire one round into the wall during a bank robbery in Taunton.

The Taunton Police Department said in a Facebook post that officers are investigating a robbery at First Citizen's Federal Credit Union, located at 280 Winthrop Street.

Police said the suspect, believed to be a man about 5'4" tall, showed tellers a short barreled rifle.

During the incident, the man shot one round into the wall before leaving with an undetermined amount of cash.
