Daily Talker: Sony Reverses Course

Sony Pictures has reversed course and will now release the controversial movie "The Interview" after all. The studio originally canceled screenings of the movie last week when hackers threatened terrorist attacks at theaters that played the movie. The decision sparked outrage among many including those in the Hollywood community. But now, the $44 million movie originally set for nationwide release Christmas Day will play on approximately 200 screens in smaller theaters. The studio called the limited opening "only the first step" and has indicated to theaters it plans to show the film via video-on-demand, also starting as early as December 25th.

What do you think of Sony reversing course and releasing "The Interview" in smaller theaters?
