Woman Struck And Killed By Attleboro Commuter Rail Train

ATTLEBORO (CBS) – A woman was struck and killed by a Commuter Rail train Saturday morning in Attleboro.

MBTA Transit Police responded at about 9 a.m. Saturday along with the Attleboro police and fire departments to the Attleboro Commuter Rail station.

Investigators found a white woman about 34 years old who was hit and killed by an outgoing train on Track 3. Transit police said the woman was trespassing on the tracks.

The Bristol County District Attorney's office is currently investigating the woman's death, though foul play is not suspected.
