State Police Seek Driver Who Caused NH Rollover, Drove Away

BOW, N.H. (CBS) – New Hampshire State Police are seeking a driver who left the scene after sideswiping another vehicle, hitting a guardrail and causing a rollover crash.

Police were called to Interstate 93 North in Bow, N.H., near the Interstate 89 junction at about 3:15 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Troopers found a Subaru Forrester laying on its driver's side, with one person trapped in the vehicle and two other people standing outside.

The third person was removed and transported to Concord Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A witness told police that another car, possibly a light-colored older model Buick, was driving at a high rate of speed when the car sideswiped the Subaru, hit the guardrail and continued driving north on I-93.

Though state police issued an alert following the crash, they were unable to find the suspect vehicle, which is likely to have damage to the driver and passenger side.

Any witnesses or people with information on the crash are asked to call Trooper Anthony Pratt at (603) 223-4381.
