Driver Cited After Plowing Into Quincy Insurance Building

QUINCY (CBS) – A driver was cited for leaving the scene of an accident after plowing into a Quincy insurance building late Wednesday night.

Quincy police said it is unknown what caused the driver to crash into the front of the Marchionne Insurance Agency on Independence Ave. at about 11:30 p.m.

Police could not find the driver involved in the incident when they responded to the scene. A K-9 unit was used to track the man, who was eventually located in Braintree.

The man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Quincy's building inspector was called to the scene to assess the damage after the incident.
