Patriots-Lions Week 12 News & Notes

BOSTON (CBS) -- WBZ-TV's Levan Reid passes along a few notes and fun facts ahead of Sunday's Patriots-Lions game at Gillette Stadium.

- This will be the 11th meeting between the New England and Detroit, with the Patriots holding a 6-4 edge.

- Since 2001, the Patriots are the only team in the NFL to finish with a record above .500 every year. They are guaranteed to have at least a .500 record for the 14th consecutive season.

- Since 2001, the Pats own are an NFL-best 39-14 in the month of November. Tom Brady is 37-11 in November.

- The Pats have won 13 straight games against NFC North teams, including 2-0 this season. It's the longest current streak that any team has against a division.

- Tom Brady's NFL debut was against the Detroit Lions in 2000. His first completion was to Rod Rutledge.

- The Pats will see safety James Ihedigbo this weekend. He played for New England during the 2011 season, and played his college ball at UMass.

- During their current six-game win streak, the Patriots have averaged 40.5 points per game.

- Last week was the sixth straight game the Pats have scored first.

- The Pats are riding a 14-game regular season home winning streak.

-  New England has won 72 straight home games when leading at halftime.

- The Pats have had great success in the red zone this season. New England's offense is second in the NFL with 185 points scored in 36 trips in the red zone (21 touchdowns, three field goals).

- Bill Belichick owns 226 career wins, and needs just four more victories to pass Curly Lambeau into fourth place on the NFL's all-time victory list.
