Phantom Gourmet: Local Taverns

BOSTON (CBS) - Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet explores some local taverns where the food takes top priority.

Lincoln Tavern in South Boston is a bustling restaurant and bar, serving upscale burgers, oven-braised short ribs and hand-tossed pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Five Horses Tavern in Somerville and the South End offers over 80 craft beers, ginger and garlic mussels, customizable mac and cheese.

John Brewer's Tavern in Waltham and Malden boasts a wide range of beer friendly foods from buffalo wings to sweet potato haddock to Guinness chocolate cake.
