Game Of Jones: More Carries For Gray Or Blount Rest Of Season?

BOSTON (CBS) - Thursday night means it's time for some Role Play on The Adam Jones Show's Game Of Jones!

Here are the questions:

- You are Red Sox president Larry Lucchino. How do you want the whole Jon Lester scenario to play out?

"We put a good firm offer out there that Red Sox fans think is fair and now the ball is in his court. This is a player who said you'd have to rip the jersey off his back. This is a player who said he wanted to stay in Boston. But he never got back to the negotiating table. Now we're giving him an offer of six years and $120 million, so the ball is in his court. If he wants to come back to Boston then it's up to him. We don't want players on the wrong side of 30 for that kind of money, so we'll save face on an offer like this when he takes more years and more money somewhere else."

- You are Red Sox general manager Ben Cherington. How do YOU want the whole Jon Lester scenario to play out?

"Unlike Larry, if we're being honest here, we don't see eye to eye on this one. I want Jon Lester back. We want to bring back a pitcher who we know works in this market and works on this big stage. He's a horse at the top of the rotation; 200+ innings seemingly every year. We don't make fake offers to cater to our fan base. I want the pitcher back next season and I hope we add more dollars and add more years to make it attractive enough for him to come back."

- You are Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari. Truthfully, could you beat the 76ers? And will you go undefeated?

"We're not gonna go undefeated. It's been a long time since that's happened. Could we beat Philadelphia? I'll shoot you straight on this one. We have 10 future NBA players. I genuinely believe that my team could beat the Philadelphia 76ers. They have a handful of real NBA players and then a bunch of guys on the roster just so they can lose and get a high draft pick."

- You are Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Which player on the Lions defense do you need to be most aware of?

"Ndamukong Suh. No question. How could you not pay attention to a guy like that? He disrupts everything when you look at the film, and on top of that he's a dirty player. He's a guy you have to keep tabs on."

- You are Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. Who will get more carries the rest of the season: Jonas Gray or LeGarrette Blount?

"I'm gonna go with Jonas Gray, the guy that just put up 200 yards on national television for us. We view LeGarrette Blount as more of a depth option."

Listen below!

To start the show, Adam Jones talked about the Patriots vs. Lions matchup this coming Sunday. Also, now that the Patriots brought back LeGarrette Blount, what does this mean after Jonas Gray's big day?
