Toucher & Rich: MMA Fighter Conor McGregor In Studio
BOSTON (CBS) - UFC Fight Night is coming back to Boston January 18 at TD Garden, tickets go on sale tomorrow.
To help preview the event, 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich were joined by UFC featherweight "Irish Sensation" Conor McGregor in studio.
McGregor will be taking on Russian Dennis Siver in the 5-round main event. McGregor is 4-0 in his UFC career and maintains a solid 16-2 overall mixed martial arts record.
McGregor discussed the art of trash talking and how other fighters are biting his style. He also had some negative things to say about Chael Sonnen and anyone who tries to challenge him out in public.
The 26-year-old had nothing but nice things to say about the city of Boston, a place where he's fought once before, earning a unanimous decision over Max Holloway in August 2013.
McGregor talked about his Irish heritage, his Dublin roots and even compared the two cities and its inhabitants.
