Rich Keefe's Fantasy Brief: Week 12 Waiver Wire Pickups

BOSTON (CBS) - Only two weeks remaining in the fantasy football regular season, at least in the vast majority of leagues.

Week 12 kicks off  Thursday with Kansas City traveling to Oakland to take on the division rival 0-10 Raiders in prime time. Week 12 also marks the final week of byes, with only Carolina and Pittsburgh sitting out.

On Tuesday night, 98.5 The Sports Hub's Rich Keefe and Adam Jones laid out the players you should put a claim in for immediately on your league's waiver wire.

Browns WR Josh Gordon

"Surprised I'm even saying this, but he's still available in over 30 percent of leagues. He's going to be activated and he's going to be able to play. Josh Gordon could certainly help sway your playoff race. Last time I checked he was only owned in 68 percent of leagues," said Rich Keefe. "Double check on Josh Gordon."

Patriots RB Jonas Gray

"It's kind of an obvious one, and maybe if you're in a league with a lot of Patriots fans he's already gone, but Jonas Gray. He's available in a ton of leagues. He's got a tough matchup this weekend against Detroit. I think if he gets 50 yards that will be high. He had 201 yards, four touchdowns and the cover of Sports Illustrated for his Indianapolis game. But we all know how the Patriots operate. They'll probably barely run it next game. Jonas Gray has to be owned, but I'm not necessarily sure you plug him into your lineup this weekend."

Colts TE Coby Fleener

"He was probably drafted and then dumped because he had a few bad weeks. Maybe you have Greg Olsen or even Heath Miller on a bye, in which case Coby Fleener is a good pickup. He's been good. He had double digit points in standard leagues without even getting into the end zone last week, and before their bye (Week 10) he had a touchdown. So all of a sudden Coby Fleener is starting to get hooked up," said Keefe.

Browns RB Isaiah Crowell

"I don't like to give repeat names here in the pickups, but Isaiah Crowell of the Cleveland Browns definitely needs to be picked up and played. It was a three-headed monster in the Cleveland backfield, but they just released Ben Tate so they're turning it over to Terrance West and Crowell. It's hard to say week-to-week who's going to get more attention, but they use them both so I would definitely pick up Crowell."

The next few guys that Keefe named are more speculative players, and maybe you'd pick them up if you have a deep bench spot or are dealing with injuries. These are players you won't start right away, but are worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.

Raiders RB Latavius Murray

"The Raiders are 0-10 and they're facing a tough Kansas City defense Thursday night, but you've seen what they have with running backs right now; Maurice Jones-Drew and Darren McFadden are both getting old, and Murray had more rushing yards than both of those guys last week. He only had four carries, but it was for 43 yards and he also caught some passes out of the backfield. They turned it over to rookie quarterback Derek Carr in Week 1, so you'd think they'd want to see what they have in Murray."

Colts RB Dan Herron

"With Ahmad Bradshaw down and Trent Richardson sucking, Dan Herron could be the guy in Indy."
