Colts Sergio Brown Gracious In Defeat; Just Kidding, He Totally Whined On Twitter

BOSTON (CBS) - There's a saying that sometimes a man just has to admit when he's defeated and move on.

Colts safety Sergio Brown has never heard of that saying.

Besides Jonas Gray finding the end zone four times en route to a 42-20 dismantling of the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, one of the highlights of the game came on Gray's fourth score in the fourth quarter, when Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski tossed Sergio Brown around like a rag doll.

Gronkowski opened up a crater-sized hole for Gray to run through, and continued to block Brown well after the whistle. He grabbed hold of the former Patriots safety and took him for a ride all the way to the sideline and beyond, sending Brown crashing into the camera cart off screen.

After the game, Gronk told NBCSN that Brown was "yapping" at him all game, and he was merely throwing him out of the club.

"I was the bouncer, picked him up and tossed him out of the club on that one touchdown. So that was perfect," he said.

It was perfect, a perfect summation of Rob Gronkowski as a complete tight end. He takes pride in blocking as much as he does catching touchdowns, and that was evident for all to see Sunday night.

After climbing out of the camera stanchion, dusting himself off, losing by over 20 points to a conference rival and picking up the pieces on Monday, Brown did what any tough guy would do and logged on to Twitter to defend himself.

Brown has since deleted those tweets.

Nobody likes a sore loser, and it's hard to imagine many fans in this region liking Sergio Brown after that series of tweets.
