Baskin-Robbins Selling Camouflage Ice Cream Flavor To Benefit Troops

CANTON (CBS) -- Baskin-Robbins is serving up a new flavor of ice cream this month to support military members, veterans and their families.

"First Class Camouflage," a combination of chocolate, salty caramel and cake-flavored ice cream that can come in a "Camouflage Waffle Cone," is the November flavor of the month. The cone and waffle bowls are decorated brown, green and tan.

Ten cents from each ice cream scoop of any flavor sold on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) from the Canton-based chain will benefit United Service Organizations.

"We're excited to honor our military service members and veterans this November through our long-standing partnership with the USO," Baskin-Robbins President Bill Mitchell said. "We're also looking forward to introducing our November Flavor of the Month, First Class Camouflage, which celebrates our troops in a fun and unique way."

Baskin-Robbins is also offering customers a "First Class Camouflage Layered Sundae" that includes Oreo cookie pieces, caramel praline topping and hot fudge.

The USO provides services and programs to servicemen and women and their families.
