Bedard: Arizona Cardinals Will Finish No. 1 In NFC

BOSTON (CBS) - The MMQB's Greg Bedard made his way out of the film room and was kind enough to join 98.5 The Sports Hub's Felger & Massarotti on Tuesday afternoon, as he does every week throughout the season.

He's done looking at the All-22, the All-11, the interior and the exterior, and during his appearance on Felger & Mazz he gave his three best and three worst players for the Patriots in their 43-21 win over Denver on Sunday. Tony Massarotti also participated in the exercise.

Also on Tuesday's show, Felger & Mazz went "Around The League" with Greg Bedard, discussing some of the major topics and storylines -- plus some goofy ones as well.

Here are the questions for Bedard:

- How come no one is taking the Arizona Cardinals seriously? Should we be?

"Yes we should. I have them as going 12-4 and being the no. 1 seed in the NFC. They're a good team. They don't have the greatest running game, but boy, Todd Bowles is the defensive coordinator and Carson Palmer is playing good football -- he's the reason why people aren't taking them seriously," said Bedard.

- Turns out the Giants are tanking along with the Jets. Is this bad news for the Jets? Meaning, if both teams are in the market for a coach next season, doesn't this make the Jets a less-attractive job?

"I don't think general manager Jerry Reese is leaving the Giants. A guy like Jim Harbaugh is going to want complete control of the operation, so I don't think he's a fit with the Giants," said Bedard.

- How come Felger, a co-owner of the Green Bay Packers, doesn't feel good about them extending head coach Mike McCarthy?

"Because you're a Packers fan and you hate prosperity," joked Bedard. "Packers fans need something to complain about all the time."

- Why does the Washington Redskins locker room hate Robert Griffin III?

"I don't know. I think it's because he gets a lot of publicity. These quarterbacks are real buddy-buddy with the owners now. The way they treat him just seems odd to me. It's a strange situation," said Bedard.

- Give us your updated AFC power rankings.

"New England, Denver, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh," said Bedard.

- We've asked you before who the biggest tool bag QB in the league is, but how about biggest tool bag owner?

"Woody Johnson, Dan Snyder, Jerry Jones -- at least Mark Davis hired a general manager and let him do his thing, it just hasn't worked out," said Bedard.

- What if Mark Sanchez can play? He looked pretty good for Philadelphia over the weekend and looks like he'll be getting the start over the next month or so.

"I'll tell you what. Jets fans are rooting for Mark Sanchez big time because they are so down on the organization. I think Mark is going to be successful. I think they're in good hands. People will make it about the Jets, but this is a good system fit for Sanchez. This is an offense that gives the quarterback answers before the snap -- he doesn't have to really read that much and then figure it out after the snap," said Bedard.
