Man Facing Jail Time Fails To Return To Norfolk Superior Court Before Verdict

DEDHAM (CBS) – Massachusetts State Police are looking for a man facing prison time who they say did not return to court for the reading of the verdict in his drug case.

Police said said on Monday that Jonathan Hernandez was convicted by a jury Friday in Norfolk Superior Court for trafficking 100 to 200 grams of cocaine and a school zone violation.

Hernandez faces up to 20 years in state prison. He was present for the trial, but did not return to the courtroom before the verdict was read later in the day, according to police.

The 33-year-old, who is 6 feet tall and weighs about 205 pounds, has ties to the Milton and Boston areas.
