Patriots-Bears Week 8 News & Notes

BOSTON (CBS) -- WBZ-TV's Levan Reid passes along some news and notes for Sunday's Patriots-Bears game at Gillette Stadium.

- The Pats have a 12-game winning streak against the NFC North. It's the longest streak any team has against one division.

- This will be the 12th meeting between the Pats and the Bears, with New England holding an 8-3 advantage.

- The Pats are 3-0 against the Bears in home games.

- Since 2001, the Pats are 20-4 against NFC teams at Gillette

- Chicago is one of eight teams that Tom Brady has an undefeated record against

- Brady is 39-10 overall in the regular season against NFC opponents, including 19-5 against the NFC at home.

- Family ties: Shane Vereen is the older brother of Bears safety, Brock Vereen. This will be the first time the two play against each other.

- Since 2003, the Pats are an NFL-best 40-9 in the month of October. That includes 24-1 in home games in that stretch.

- Tom Brady has not thrown an interception this month while tossing nine touchdowns. The Pats are an NFL-best 93-11 when they do not throw an interception.

- The Pats have a 12 game winning streak at Gillette. It's the longest current home winning streak in the NFL.

- The Pats have won 70 straight games when they've had a lead at halftime.

- The New England defense is the only one in the NFL that has not allowed a pass play of over 40 yards this season.

- Tom Brady played in his 200th regular season game as a Patriot on Thursday night, just the third player to do so. The other two are Bruce Armstrong and Julius Adams.

- Rob Gronkowski has a catch in 57 consecutive regular season games -- every game of his career since 2010.

- Stephen Gostkowski has converted 30 straight fourth quarter field goals.

- The Patriots have sold out 221 straight games at Gillette, including preseason and play-off games.
