POLL: Did Tom Brady Flop?

BOSTON (CBS) - It's not too often you hear the term "flop" or "embellishment" associated with the sport of football.

Futbol? Now that's a different story.

With under a minute to go in the first half of last night's game, Tom Brady rolled to his right looking to pass. With nobody open, Tom threw it away and was shoved to the ground by Jets linebacker Antwan Barnes in what was certainly a late hit. No flags were thrown.

Patriots lineman Jordan Devey took exception to the act, so he did his best Logan Mankins impression and shoved Barnes to the ground. Devey was called for unnecessary roughness, but only after Tom Brady hit the turf from a nudge by Jets tackle Leger Douzable.

Brady went down fairly easy, but you could make the case he tripped over his left tackle Nate Solder's feet. It's plausible, because even he would admit he's not the most athletic guy in the world.
