Daily Talker: No More "Boys and Girls?"

Parents in Lincoln, Nebraska are voicing their concern this morning after some received a letter from their school regarding "gender inclusiveness".  Basically, the idea is to make sure no one in the class feels excluded due to their gender.  So the school recommended that teachers no longer refer to students as "boys and girls".  Instead, teachers should say "calling all readers" or "hey, campers".  This has not been implemented yet and was only a recommendation.  But it still has a lot of people talking.  What do you think about the idea of not referring to young students as "boys and girls" as a way to promote gender inclusiveness?
