Drunken Bruins Recap: Red Robins

BOSTON (CBS) - We've seen them come and go, but a new cult hero may have been born in Boston last night, and he goes by the name Bobby Robins.

The 32-year-old rookie and career minor leaguer made his NHL debut Wednesday night for the Bruins regular season opener, and every time he touched the ice there was an anticipation and excitement around his presence, which culminated in a fight with Luke Schenn of the Flyers in the second period.

98.5 The Sports Hub's Adolfo Gonzalez was outside the TD Garden interviewing drunk fans exiting the arena, who were jacked up and out in full force following the 2-1 win.

One fan in particular was clearly inebriated, and after giving props to Fred Toucher he gushed about the team's new fourth line enforcer.

"I TWEETED AT ZOLAK EARLIER. BOBBY ROBINS -- I WANNA SEE SOMEONE BLEED. #REDROBINS!"

After watching one game, this fan already has the Bruins winning the Cup.
