Gresh & Zo: Patriots-Bengals Reaction

BOSTON (CBS) - 98.5 The Sports Hub's Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak were a part of the Patriots radio broadcast Sunday night and were up working until the wee hours of the morning, so needless to mention they had a lot to say Monday morning in reaction to the team's 43-17 win.

The guys started the show with a montage put together by producer Jim Louth titled "Brady's Redemption," and how last night's statement win help make up for the first four lackluster weeks.

Afterwards they got into the x's and o's. With Bryan Stork at center, Dan Connolly at left guard, Ryan Wendell at right guard and Nate Solder and Sebastian Vollmer at the tackle spots, Gresh & Zo believe they've finally found their five best lineman.

Brady was sacked just once on the evening, proving that point even more.

The guys were also pleased to see Darrelle Revis trailing A.J. Green all night, in what they described as a "marquee win" for the franchise because of how they bounced back from Monday night's massacre in Kansas City.

Afterwards, Andy Gresh, Scott Zolak and Hardy go 'No Huddle' discussing some of the major topics around the league.

They include:

- Geno Smith being Geno Smith. He missed a team meeting over the weekend because he went to the movies. His excuse will leave you speechless.

- Tony Romo calling out the Dallas fans for not showing up in numbers for their in-state battle with the Texans.

- Buffalo pulled the upset in Detroit thanks to Dan "Money Man" Carpenter. If the Lions had a decent kicker they would have won.

- The Saints survived the Bucs. Barely.

All that and much more - listen below!

Getting back to the Patriots, Gresh & Zo were disgusted with the way the game was called by head official Jerome Boger and his crew.

Zolak felt like Boger "lost complete control" of the game, and both he and Gresh discussed some of the evening's questionable calls. You know which ones we're talking about.

Lastly, Gresh & Zo discussed the Chris Mortensen report.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported early on Sunday that "tension" exists between Tom Brady and the Patriots organization, and that backup Jimmy Garoppolo will be the starter "sooner rather than later."

Is there anything to the report? Will winning cure everything?

Gresh & Zo discuss.
