NightSide - Failing To Honor A Hero, Glen Doherty

BOSTON (CBS) - Lost in much of the partisan rhetoric and political gamesmanship that circles many of the conversations about the attack in Benghazi is the fact that four Americans lost their lives. One of those men was Glen Doherty, a native of Winchester, Massachusetts. As with all contractors who sign with the CIA, Doherty was forced to take out a life insurance policy which cost him thousands of dollars in premiums. But, due to a loophole in the policy terms, the family has received zero financial support following the tragic events of that night. Despite already having to deal with tremendous loss, the family has been forced to take their claim to the legal system. Barbara Doherty, Glen's mother, sits down with Dan to talk about the family's struggle. Tune in to hear her incredible perspective!
