BOSTON (CBS) -- The Patriots will play in their first of five nationally televised games this season on Monday night, when they square off against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Here are some news and notes about the upcoming matchup:

- This is the fourth time that the Pats will play the Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The last time they played was November 2011 at Gillette, with the Pats winning big, 34-3. The Pats are 3-0 against the Chiefs on Monday nights.

- This is the 33rd meeting between the Patriots and Chiefs. Kansas City holds the edge 16-13-3.

- The Pats have played the Chiefs five times at Arrowhead, and have only won once.

- The last time the Pats were in Kansas City was in 2005, a 26-16 loss.

- Tom Brady is 13-5 in 18 Monday night football games with 42 touchdown passes. He's thrown three or more touchdowns nine times on MNF.

- Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have connected on 44 touchdown passes, tied for the third most between a quarterback and tight end in NFL history. Drew Bledsoe and Ben Coates are second (45) behind San Diego's Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates (63).
