Stewart & Keefe: WWE's Next Breakout Star And 'Night Of Champions' Recap

BOSTON (CBS) - 98.5 The Sports Hub's James Stewart and Rich Keefe sit down for a discussion on all-things WWE!

Here are some of the highlights:

Who is the next break out star in the WWE?

Both believe the next big thing is Roman Reigns, even though they don't agree with it. There may not even be the next guy on the roster right now to emerge.

Who is to blame for WWE not building the next star?

Fifty percent of the world wants to blame John Cena, but part of it has to go to Vince McMahon, the guy who signs the checks.

Stewart notes that John Cena has done what's right for the business time after time after time. The most recent example was getting dominated by Brock Lesnar at Summer Slam. 1:12 of offense, was on his back for more than 11 minutes during the match. Also has put over clean in the middle Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Rob Van Dam, Edge.

Was the 'Night Of Champions' finish between Brock and Cena a "safe" way out of the match? Or will it lead to a blow off at Hell In A Cell in Dallas?

Speaking of Hell In A Cell, if Cena vs. Brock is NOT the main event, can Ambrose and Rollins be the main event?

What has happened to the Bray Wyatt? Why has he cooled off?

It's of their opinion that his in-ring work hasn't matched his promo level. Is that his fault, creative fault or his opponents fault? His last 9 months of opponents: Bryan, Shield, John Cena, Chris Jericho.

So that answers that.

Thoughts on the intercontinental and US championships?

If Brock Lesnar is NOT going to be full time as WWE Champion, you need these championships to be strong. When we grew up watching the sport, WWF would run three shows: Hogan as WWF Champion would be the main show, then the "B" shows in smaller towns would run the I-C Title and Tag Titles as main events on house shows.

Dolph and Sheamus should be bigger and made to be more important. Does anyone think they're strong champions? The US and I-C champions should be the top 5-10 guys in the company. Are Dolph and Sheamus in the Top 10 in WWE?

They're not so sure.

Listen below for their full discussion, including Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Miz and much more!
