Massasoit College Students Warned After Sex Assault
BROCKTON (CBS) – Massasoit Community College in Brockton is warning students to be on alert after a sex assault.
A female student told police on Monday that someone sexually assaulted her in an area on or adjacent to the college's Brockton campus on Friday afternoon.
She said she knew the man who attacked her. Prior to the alleged assault, the victim encountered him on campus on several occasions where he identified himself as a Massasoit student.
The suspect is described as an African American male of thin build, about 5'7" in height, with short, black hair.
The Massasoit Community College Police Department and Brockton Police Department are actively investigating the assault.
