The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has voted to award a casino license to Wynn Resorts proposal in Everett.

There are a number of obstacles remaining, mainly, a voter referendum in November that will ask whether to overturn the state's 2011 casino law, thus rendering Wynn's proposal obsolete.
