Daily Talker: Should Someone In The NFL Be Punished?

A former FBI director will now investigate how the NFL handled evidence in the Ray Rice case.

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller will have access to all NFL records. This announcement came after an Associated Press report that someone in the NFL did see the video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée five months ago. The AP says a law enforcement official sent the video to an NFL executive. The source played a 12-second voicemail for the AP from an NFL phone number in April. On it, a female voice says, "You're right. It's terrible."

After that report came out, the NFL released this statement: "We have no knowledge of this. We are not aware of anyone in our office who possessed or saw the video before it was made public on Monday."

Who or what do you believe now? Should Roger Goodell step down? Should someone in the NFL be punished?
