Daily Talker: The Right To Recline?

They're quickly becoming the not-so-friendly skies.  In less than two weeks, three flights have been diverted because passengers began fighting over a reclined seat.  In the latest incident, a flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport to West Palm Beach, Florida, was rerouted to Jacksonville, Florida.  Passengers claim a woman became irate when the person in front of her reclined her seat.  She refused to calm down despite the best efforts of flight attendants.  Witnesses say they eventually had to physically block her from trying to reach the cockpit.

Just last week, a flight from Miami to Paris was diverted to Logan Airport.  A man from Paris is now facing federal charges of interfering with a flight crew after he became angry over someone trying to recline their seat.

What's the best way to handle this situation? Should we ban people from reclining? Or do you have the right to recline on your flight?
