Wednesday's Child: 16-Year-Old Ezekiel

BOSTON (CBS) – Ezekiel or Zeke is a Caucasian/Hispanic teen who enjoys going fishing, and playing sports like baseball, basketball, football, and dodgeball. At 16-years-old, he hopes to be a police officer or a firefighter when he grows up. Zeke is engaging and has developed strong relationships with the people in his life. He has a great sense of humor and is considered to be kind-hearted and fun-loving by those who know him best.

At school, Zeke continues to work hard and is making progress towards his academic and behavioral goals. Math is his favorite subject. He has some emotional difficulties and needs the support of two parents in a family where he can be the youngest or only child in the home. Zeke is thinking about his future and would like to still have a family to finish his teen years and come back to when he is on school break. Zeke is legally free for adoption.

To learn more about Zeke, and about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at 617-54-ADOPT (617-542-3678) or visit www.MAREinc.org. The sooner you call, the sooner a waiting child will have "a permanent place to call HOME."
