In addition, WBZ-TV AccuWeather meteorologist Danielle Niles will also join the WBZ-TV Morning (M-F, 4:30-7 a.m.) and Noon News team. The announcements were made today by Mark Lund, President and General Manager for CBS Boston's WBZ-TV and myTV38 (WSBK-TV). Hauser and Niles will assume their new roles beginning Monday, September 1.

"Kathryn is an outstanding journalist with deep connections to the New England region, and will be a great addition to the 'BZ News team. Danielle's local roots, expertise as a meteorologist, and warm on-air presentation will be perfect for the morning newscast. We are thrilled to have them joining our morning team and look forward to having them contribute to the growth and success of our newscasts," said Lund. "These changes will also give us the opportunity to make additional anchor reassignments that will allow us to bolster our enterprise and investigative reporting, content development, and commitment to the local community."
