BOSTON (CBS) – Police are telling South Boston residents to be on alert after a late night attack.
Investigators say a woman was walking home in the area of West 2nd Street between D and E Streets when a man grabbed and groped her from behind. The attack happened at about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The victim described the suspect as a male of unknown ethnicity who had a medium brown complexion. He is described as approximately 5’8″-5’10” tall, muscular build with facial hair described as scruffy.
The suspect was wearing a black or dark blue sleeveless hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect fled the area on a black mountain bike.
