Brookline Water Main Break Repaired

BROOKLINE (CBS) – Brookline Police report Saturday's water main break near the intersection of Crafts and Cleveland Road has been repaired.

Water shot about 80 feet in the air from the break, which is a few blocks from the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.

The break occurred when a contractor digging in the area hit an 8-inch water main.

Police said residents in the area should expect water problems.

Brookline Fire responded to the incident along with police.
