Boston Man Shot Dead In Brockton; Police Investigating

BROCKTON (CBS) – Brockton Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 27-year-old Boston man dead on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Quentin Phillips, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.

The victim was sitting in a car in the parking lot behind 11 Crescent St. when he was shot in the chest at around 2:21 a.m. Phillips's friends took him to a hospital immediately after the shooting.

The hospital notified police of the shooting.

State Police and Brockton police are investigating the incident. An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
