Leicester Restaurant Owner Shames Plant Thief On Facebook

LEICESTER (CBS) - A restaurant owner is using Facebook to try to shame a thief into returning what he stole.

The owner of Eller's Restaurant in Leicester posted surveillance photos of a man stealing a planter on Saturday morning.

In his post, he gave the man who was driving a black BMW 24 hours to bring the planter back no questions asked.

That deadline has passed, so police are now involved.

The owner says if the planter is returned with an apology and a handshake, all will be forgiven.
