Belichick To Host ‘Hall Of Fame Huddle’ With Bruschi, Brown
BOSTON (CBS) — In just a couple of weeks, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will be back in the huddle with two of his favorite former players.
Belichick will be joined by Patriots Hall of Famers Tedy Bruschi and Troy Brown on August 20 for the first event put on by the Bill Belichick Foundation, called “A Hall Of Fame Huddle.” Belichick and his two former players, along with emcee Scott Zolak from 98.5 The Sports Hub, will treat fans to a “round-huddle” discussion about their glory days with the team.
“It’s going to be an exciting night. We’re going to talk a lot about football. Of course, Troy and Tedy epitomize leadership and teamwork, so we’re going to talk about that,” Belichick told WBZ-TV’s Steve Burton about the event. “We’re going to have some film and talk about some of the great plays and moments they were involved in, all three of us were involved in. We’ll watch some film and talk about some of the specifics of plays and situations and some great memories. It will be a fun night for New England Patriots football fans.
“Troy and Tedy are two of the best, and no one knows more about leadership and teamwork than those guys. I’ll be the moderator and we’ll just have a little huddle there, and I’ll talk to two guys in the Hall of Fame,” said Belichick.
The event will be held at the Boston Harbor Hotel, and begin with a reception at 5:30 pm. Belichick, Bruschi, Brown and Zolak will then take the stage from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Fans who would like to attend the event can make a donation to the Bill Belichick Foundation, which was formed in December 2013 in memory of the late Steve Belichick.
