3 People Injured In Jamaica Plain House Fire

BOSTON (CBS) – Three people were injured after a fire in a home in Jamaica Plain on Saturday.

The fire broke out in the crawl space under the basement floor of a house on Carolina Avenue around 9:15 a.m.

Boston Fire reports that a crew was doing work in the home at the time.

Three workers were taken to area hospitals. Officials say two of those workers suffered burns.

A firefighter was also transported to the hospital for chest pains.

Boston’s Fire Chief estimates the damage to be about $100,000.
