BOSTON (CBS) – Nothing says summer in New England like lobster. Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet found some of the region’s most interesting lobster dishes.

Maine is known as the lobster capital of the world and at Cornerstone in Ogunquit, it’s a main ingredient on their signature pizza.

Los Andes in Providence is a colorful South American restaurant that serves a unique paella stuffed lobster.

Since lobster is more popular than crab down the Cape, lobster cakes are the hottest-selling appetizer at Oak and Ember in Mashpee.

Still, the most popular ways to eat lobster are simply steamed, stuffed in a lobster roll, and lately, added to mac and cheese.
