Holbrook Man Dies Of Injuries Suffered In Head-On Crash On Route 37

BOSTON (CBS) – One of four people hurt in a head-on car crash on Route 37 in Holbrook Sunday afternoon has died of his injuries.

Robert Ball, 55, of Holbrook, the driver of a blue Oldsmobile apparently traveling on the wrong side of the center line at the time of the collision, died Sunday night at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, the Norfolk District Attorney's office reported.

Ball was transported by MedFlight to Tufts Medical Center after the crash.

A woman who was a passenger in Ball's car and a married couple that was in the Honda that was struck were all transported to area hospitals with serious injuries but are expected to survive, according to the district attorney's office.

Their names were not released.
