Phantom Gourmet: Great Restaurants In Plymouth

PLYMOUTH (CBS) – Plymouth is known for its history and scenic harbor.  But the Phantom Gourmet thinks Plymouth should also be famous for its food.

Sabor Restaurant, Court Street
in Spanish, the word "sabor" means flavor.  And at Sabor Restaurant on Court Street in Plymouth, the globally influenced flavors are off the charts thanks to chef/owner Vinicio Cordon.

"I like the restaurant to be an empty canvas where people are part of the decor and the food is the main focal point."

Blue-Eyed Crab, Water Street
the Blue-Eyed Crab on Water Street is a Carribbean inspired grill and rum bar that's a big departure from Plymouth's colonial past.

"We always like to have a good time, we love live music, we love fun colors, fun food, and we thought it was a nice concept here in the middle of this historic New England town, to kind of throw in this crazy party restaurant.  It's not like anything else they have around here."

Office Bistro
Situated just steps from the water, the Office Bistro is a cozy spot where the food matches the view.

"It's an office that you can relax in. We've got one of the best views in America here. And the food is international. You'll find something from all four corners of the globe."

Some other Phantom favorites in Plymouth include The Cabby Shack for their clam chowder, and 42 Degrees North in Manomet for the baked stuff lobster.
