The head coach of the USA World Cup soccer team is giving you permission to miss work today to watch the match against Germany.

The official US Soccer Twitter feed sent out a fill-in-the-blank note signed by coach Jurgen Klinsmann you can give to your boss.

“I understand this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause,” the note reads. “By the way, you should act like a good leader and take the day off as well. Go USA!”

USA will advance to the round of 16 with a win or a tie in today’s match against Germany that starts at Noon.  Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is inviting people to a viewing party at City Hall Plaza starting at 11:30 a.m.
