Swampscott Man Charged With 5th OUI After Another Driver Tips Off Police

MALDEN (CBS) – Malden police are praising the person who tipped them off to a suspected drunk driver on Wednesday night.

Officers pulled over Glen Francis Shanoski, 46, of Swampscott around 9:30 p.m. after another driver called 911 to report that Shanoski's car was swerving all over the road.

The caller was able to follow Shanoski until police caught up.

Shanoski is charged with OUI 5th offense.

After his arrest, police say he was taken to the hospital to be treated for alcohol-related issues.
