LYMAN, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire authorities are investigating the death of an infant and serious injuries to a second child at a home in Lyman.
The state attorney general says police received a 911 call shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday from a couple reporting that their 4-month old son was in medical distress.
The child was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Police say the infant’s sister, who is also 4-months-old, was found to have serious injuries and was hospitalized.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death and injuries.
