Goodell On Foxboro Super Bowl: Process Is ‘More And More Difficult’
BOSTON (CBS) — Could Foxboro ever host a Super Bowl? NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell doesn’t sound too optimistic.
Goodell was at Foxboro to speak at a football safety clinic for moms of athletes, a program aimed at safer play at all levels of football.
“It’s something that if this community decides it’s what they want to do, it’s competitive, this process is more and more difficult because everyone wants one of these events,” Goodell told reporters.”But we had a great experience in New York and it’s something we’ll take up at the membership at some point.”
