Felger & Massarotti: May 20, 2014

Hour 1

Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins today. With the NBA lottery tonight, they kicked off the show discussing the NBA draft. Should the Celtics do everything in their power to get Kevin Love from the Timberwolves? Do they have enough to make a deal for him? Mazz is trading no matter what, and Wiggy believes they have enough assets to make a deal. But, what if the Celtics get the number 8 pick in the lottery - would they be able to pull off that trade? Mazz, Wiggy and Marc Bertrand also pegged tomatoes at The Big Board to see where the Celtics will land in the draft. During this hour, news broke that the Red Sox have signed Stephen Drew.

Hour 2

Felger and Mazz started off hour 2 discussing the Stephen Drew signing. What does this mean for Will Middlebrooks and Xander Bogaerts? A couple of listeners called in to share how glad they are that Drew is back with Red Sox. During this hour, Jermaine Wiggins was asked his weekly, "10 Questions With Wiggy." Questions ranged from why the Bruins lost to Montreal to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Stephen Drew talked continued - was this a panic move for the Red Sox? And more love for Kevin Love - all the guys agreed that the Celtics need to do all they can to get him to Boston. They ended hour 2 with round 2 of The Big Board.

Hour 3

During hour 3, Felger and Mazz picked up where they left off with draft talk and the Stephen Drew signing. They talked about past NBA drafts and how the Celtics missed out on great players. What if the Celtics kept guys like Chauncey Billups and Joe Johnson? They also had a chance to draft Tracy McGrady. Imagine how they could have built around those players.

Hour 4

In the 4th and final hour of Felger and Mazz, Gary Tanguay called into the show to talk about the NBA draft lottery. Tanguay doesn't think Kevin Love is the answer for the Celtics and is nervous to see what happens. Final result for draft prediction: Celtics get the fifth overall pick in the draft. We'll have to wait and see!
