BOSTON (CBS) – State Senator Brian Joyce believes medical marijuana should carry the same 6.25% sales tax as other purchases within the state. But critics say that patients should not bear the brunt of any extra cost, and that the state is already collecting money through fees and licensing. Senator Joyce sits down with Dan to explain why he added the tax amendment to the budget, and why he believes it’s in the state’s best interest.
